Though Pre-Licensed Psychotherapists have yet to obtain their professional licenses they are qualified individuals who have completed a Master’s program in mental health counseling or related field from an accredited institution. They undergo regular training and receive supervision from a licensed professional therapist.

Interns are currently in the process of completing a Master’s degree in counseling or a related field. As budding professionals, they are often able to provide fresh new perspectives. Interns have a limited caseload and undergo weekly supervision by a licensed professional counselor while completing their Master’s degree.

Licensed Professional Counselors have many years of experience practicing therapy. They are licensed by the state board and often provide supervision to unlicensed professionals. LPCs at this practice also accept Aetna, Highmark, Independence Blue Cross, and Optum insurances.

Individual Mental Health Therapy
50 to 60 minutes with your assigned psychotherapist. Sessions vary based on treatment progress and client needs may include processing past experiences or developing coping skills.

Couples Counseling
All healthy and mutually beneficial relationships require trust and commitment. In romantic relationships these aspects are especially important for building the vulnerability and empathy crucial to loving partnerships. Together we will work toward increasing understanding and deeper connection.

Clinical Supervision
Ready to take the next step to get your license and become a licensed professional counselor? I am excited to help cultivate the next generation of professional counselors. During clinical supervision, you will be empowered and challenged to build authentic relationships with your clients while addressing their needs. You will also be invited to explore new ways to take care of yourself, prevent burnout, and set professional boundaries.

Cur clinicians are attuned to the ways that social dynamics impact the mental health and wellness outcomes of individuals, communities, and organizations. We provide interactive workshops that facilitate social understanding, personal reflection, community well-being, and youth advocacy.
