I am a pre-licensed, relationally focused therapist interested in questioning what individual and collective wellness looks like in a society that is largely unwell. I approach work with clients with the understanding that all humans are inherently interested in self-betterment but that often the obstacles in our path lead us astray and keep us stuck or “sick”. I operate with the understanding that many of these obstacles are the result of external systems of oppression and that helping clients name and challenge these oppressors is one of the ingredients of self-actualization. In practice, this means bringing curiosity into my work with clients and asking questions meant to inspire critical thought related to their identities and circumstances. In our relationship, I may serve as a supporter, a confidante, an accountability partner, a safe haven or a fellow traveler on your journey towards healing and self-actualization. In our work together I hope to create a space free of judgement for you to safely explore your inner depths, to ask difficult questions, to challenge engrained thoughts and patterns, to heal, to find motivation and support, to access accountability, to inspire change, to seek embodiment and ultimately, to develop and strengthen your relationship with your truest self.
